Terms of use · Effective 2 October 2026
Short, because the site is simple. By using datafiel.com.mx you agree to what follows. If you do not, the right thing to do is not to use the site.
01 · Who you are dealing with
I am an independent technology consultant based in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. This site exists to explain what I do and to let you get in touch. Questions about these terms go to paco@datafiel.com.mx.
02 · What this site is, and is not
Everything on this site is general information about my services and experience. It is not technical, legal, financial, tax or security advice for your situation, and you should not act on it as if it were. Reading the site, filling in the contact form or exchanging emails with me does not make you a client and does not create any engagement, duty of care or obligation on either side.
I am not a CPA firm. I do not perform audits or issue opinions, and I do not provide legal or tax advice.
03 · Engagements
If we decide to work together, the scope, fees, timeline, confidentiality, intellectual property and liability for that work are set out in a separate written agreement, usually a proposal or statement of work that we both sign. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins. Nothing on this site, including service descriptions, is a binding offer or a guarantee of any result.
04 · Using the site
You may read the site and contact me through it for legitimate purposes. You may not use it to send spam or unsolicited offers, to probe, scan or attack it or the services behind it, to scrape it at scale, to misrepresent who you are, or to submit anything unlawful, defamatory or infringing through the contact form. I may block access to anyone who does.
05 · Content and trademarks
The text, design and layout of this site, and the name Datafiel, belong to me. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not republish the site, present its content as your own, or use the Datafiel name in a way that suggests I endorse you, without my written permission.
Anything you send me through the contact form or by email remains yours. By sending it, you allow me to use it for the purpose you sent it: to respond to you and, if it comes to that, to scope an engagement.
06 · Third parties
The site links to LinkedIn and relies on services from Formspree, Google and Cloudflare. I do not control those sites or services and I am not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms apply to your use of them. How they handle your data is described in my privacy notice.
07 · No warranties
I try to keep the site accurate and available, but I make no promise that it is error-free, complete, current or uninterrupted, or that it is free of anything harmful. To the fullest extent the law allows, I exclude all warranties, express or implied, about the site and its content.
08 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything on it, including indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not apply to the work done under a signed engagement agreement, which has its own terms.
09 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute about them or about the site is subject to the courts of Hermosillo, Sonora, and by using the site you accept that jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
10 · Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. For how I handle personal data, see the privacy notice.
